Floyd is a legit ATG who has beaten many fighters of high skill, Wlad beats limited Haye and Klit fanatics go crazy.

The similarity lies in the fact that both Floyd and Wlad don't take risks. If they do, it's highly calculated. Unless you're a fan who can appreciate the true, sweet science of boxing, you're not going to be wowed by Floyd's moves in the ring. Both Wlad and Floyd have a great jab. You can't deny that. If Wlad's bread and butter offensive attack is so ordinary why aren't other HW fighters using it effectively? Seems easy enough to master, right? Don't let the look fool you. Utter nonsense. I show Floyd Mayweather highlights to non-boxing fans all the time, and they are wowed. I showed Floyd Mayweather vs Mosley to my mother who doesnt watch a shred of boxing, and she was amazed.


Floyd generates the most money in boxing because the casual fan can be wowed by Floyds skills in the ring.

If I showed a Wlad fight to someone they would never watch another boxing match again.

 

I'm not exactly throwing a party or making it appear that Wlad is threatening Ali's legacy. But I do think after beating Haye, Wlad has established a solid resume.

Last weekend's fight is like the Superbowl of boxing. Say what you want about Wlad and Haye but it was the biggest fight of the year. It didn't turn out the way people had hoped for. But someone actually won in that special event which should make him a stand out to a certain degree.
