What split does Amir deserve?

60/40 in Khan's favour. He has a much greater name worldwide than Kell, no disrespect to Kell but Khan is a slightly bigger name over here but over in America and so on he is much bigger. I do think it is unfair to say to Kell that he should take less than 50% given that he is the champion but in reality he will have to in order to make this fight.

 

This is the most balanced post I've ever seen you write. It actually favours a NON Hearn fighter over one if Eddie's boys.

I do not believe Khan will take a Brook fight anyway, he has turned it down a few times, Khan has shown no genuine interest in the fight. Khan will price himself out of a Brook fight and say the money offered is an insult and make that excuse next because that's the only excuse left for him to make.

If by some miracle Khan finds his cobblers I believe a 65/35 split in Brooks favour is fair considering Khan has done nothing for over 3 years and has nowhere else to go.

The 35% fighting Brook will still be bigger than any other payday out there for him but his ego and arrogance would not be able to accept it.

Even Eddie say's that Kell (a man which 35+ fights spanning a TWELVE YEAR CAREER) needs "building up in the UK".

Khan has been x10 more popular than Kell has for the entire length of Kell's career.

Kell has been to the states and got one meaningful win.

Ask the average person in the street who Kell Brook is and they will say "You mean KELLY Brook?" and then ask them who Amir Khan is... Kell isn't known at all.

Kell just give Khan the majority 60/40 (should be 50/50) Khan the bigger name but Kell has the belt and ranking. As I said give him the 60%, knock him out then rematch in Vegas !

 

It won't matter, kell could give him 75/25 and Khan would still price himself out of it, he's not interested in the fight at all, I'm convinced

The unfortunate thing is if he was fighting Thurman or Garcia or pac people wouldn't be on his case so much but he will actively duck all of them and to him it doesn't matter what people say because he knows no matter what he will always have a core of fans that support him because of his religion no matter what

 

Brook should just get 65% as he's the title holder and this last chance for Khan to become relevant again.

However we all know he's petrified of the Yorkshireman so won't even countenance the fight.

Brook should offer a 80/20 split to the winner, Khan would still find a reason not to take the fight.

Brook would knock him out inside 6 rounds.
