A tall rangy fighter with a good jab off the top of my head. Can't think which of his opponents could be described as that.

That's not a style though, those are attributes. And Genaro Hernandez and Oscar De La Hoy were both tall, rangy fighters with a good jab.

He hasn't fought a jab master?

    What about Cotto?

Cotto has a decent jab but he isn't a tall rangy jab master in the mold to bother Floyd.

Pretty sure Floyd himsef or maybe Sr said in the past Vernon Forrest would have been a tough style for Floyd or the WW version of Tommy Hearns.

I thought Broner was going to get the nod against Porter and then would have seen Mayweather vs Broner in September.

What better way to end his career than against a doppelganger

    Watch Hearns vs Benitez.

Although Hearns won eventually, he was struggling against a defensive master who made him look bad.

People who are mentioning tall rangy fighters with a good jab are on the right track, but Floyd has fought that in Hernandez and DelaHoya. Floyd also fought slick defensive fighters who fight off the backfoot like Mitchell and Judah, but Mayweather still was the taller, rangier, faster fighter.

What he hasn't face is a tall rangy fighter with a good jab and fights off the back foot. Only 2 fighters I can think of that would have fit that bill: Spinx at 147 and Lara at 154. Trout could maybe have fit that bill, but he is a bit more aggressive.

I remember a couple of months back where someone said Floyd doesn't fight southpaws, which is completely untrue. He's fought like, 7 of them.

    Reggie Sanders (2nd pro fight)
    Judah
    Mitchell
    Guerrero
    Corley
    Ortiz
    Pacquiao

People also mention tall rangy fighters. Well, other than G. Hernandez and ODLH, he also fought Tony Pep and Phillip N'dou.

he has matched all styles but he did not fight them all. he doesn't want to get hurt so he mastered the art of defense. he avoids mano-a-mano engagement so not to get hurt therefor his greatness against his opponents is not known. he just trusts the judges will always give him the win with his pot shotting. so head to head actual match up against most names in his resume is unknown.

Potshotting. Isn't that what SRL used to beat and frustrate Hagler?

Define Prime AGT?? AGT is not define until a fighter is in the twilight of their career..

    So again define AGT!

I have no idea what an AGT is? All Great Time? Sounds like a blast.

To address your point, my comment was a joke. But if we want to put a label on ATG let's just say top 100 ATG.
