Would you say he's an inside fighter, a swarmer, or a boxer-puncher?

Can someone please define the options?

    I'd say aggressive boxer-puncher.

I used to call him a boxer-puncher, but IB says boxer-punchers are mainly always looking for the knockout. So I guess he's just a "pure boxer".

Hes a boxer-brawler-puncher. He is looking for a brawl but does it will boxing skills and is looking to land that big punch that most boxer punchers do (think Kostya Tsyzu).

Bar brawler looking for the Lucy one and who ever mentioned that PAciou is a pure boxer don't know much about boxing and unorthodox to say the least in the past he had a hart of a lion but of late he ain't looking to get hit so he's a lot more hesitant, remember he's looking to enjoy his life after boxing with everything on his body working

wiki has him as a boxer-puncher FACT! (did you guys like my boxing master impression?) I think it is a pretty good assessment, especially at this point in his career.

pac is all offense but skills... still wreckless at times take risks. hes balanced in all areas but his offense is a high strength. when pac was in his prime man he was hard to deal with . due to his style his prime didnt last his duration of his career thats hard to keep up with but hes still rightfully top 2 p4p imo . and can still win cuz floyd isnt in his prime either

What's the difference between a brawler and a slugger?

I would say young Pacquiao was definitely a slugger.

How is that definition of boxer puncher not Manny? Pac doesn't fight that much on the inside unless he has someone hurt and is trying to finish it. He always does jab jab and then straight right and has a ton of highlight reels. I could see early Pac as a brawler.

I agree with the two comments but like I say he could get lucky I think paciou to pure boxing fans have noticed some skill addition but it's kinda new to him if feel he will revert back to what he knows best in a fight of this magnitude
and the same for floyd he will revert to what he knows best under these circumstances that's why I believe when you get boxer when their young I thing you have to teach them how to box pure then let them develop but still have the original attributes from scratch then bolt on other things like slugging and brawling but still sticking to your roots now paciou going to try and box differently which is dangerous
Who you rather do open heart surgery, a newly taught doc or a doc that's been doing it for years?
