What style would you say Shawn Porter utilizes?

Porter's sloppiness when on the offensive results in him smothering his own punches and inside work A LOT.

 

I call his style Crouching Tiger Hidden Talent.

 

A clumsy less fast and less powerful Aaron Pryor. If porter knew how to throw going forward without crowding himself and taking off the power, he'd rule the we division.

 

We need different types of fighters to mix things up. Very few have the stamina to fight like Porter anyways so it's not like his style is going to catch on and he can still improve.

 

This is exactly what Porter's syle is, which is why I think he'll always fall short at the top level. He has great stamina and can apply pressure all fight, but the majority of the time his sloppiness undermines his own work. Brook, who I always thought was good, but not great exploited Porter's sloppiness. I think Thurman would beat him again and Spence would also figure Porter out.
