What stylistic matchups would make for great entertaining fights?

    Well we all saw the Crawford-Postol fight and it wasn't that fun to watch. You had a mover against a non mover which produced a boring fight and not too much exchanges.

    So what stylistic matchups would produce a more offensive entertaining fight? Flat footed fighters vs Flat footed fighters? Who vs Who?
    If you're a runner against a runner, it would be a boring fight.

    Here are some ideas
    Canelo vs Maidana. You take a swarmer like Maidana and charges into Canelo and someone like Canelo would like that. Canelo doesn't move much and would gladly exchange. That matchup would be fireworks,imo

    Crawford vs Porter. Crawford's running tactics would be neutralized by Porter's running swarming style.
    Pacquiao vs Thurman.

    any ideas?

    Would be interesting

    Crawford vs postal was the most entertaining fight I've seen in awhile. Followed what I thought he should do to beat postal to a T.
    I said he should box and move, establish his jab, work the body, and get postol to come to him and pick him apart.
    I'm sorry you don't appreciate the fine art but I haven't seen high level skill like that in awhile.

    Thurman vs porter
    We all knew what Thurman had to do to win that fight and he failed. Thurman needed to fire up that jab. His jab was non existant. When porter got inside he mauled Thurman because he was standing to square and high on the ropes.
    He failed and took unnecessary punishment.

    Mover and non mover aren't styles. Crawford is a counter puncher and Postol has little more than a good jab. It was a recipe for a boring fight.

    But like you said Maidana vs Canelo would be great. Maidana is a come forward brawler and Canelo is a heavy handed counter puncher. Pac-Thurman would be great too.
