You think carnera was better then Byrd?

The guy was literally a circus freak, a fraud of the highest order who because champion only because mafia pulled the strings.
I dont have words to describe how horrible that guy looks on film, he makes Wach look slick.
How the hell is Carnera a HOFer!?:scaredas:.
Furthermore proves that the boxing HOF is a joke.

I'm not going to argue with anything you say here, but Carnera is in the HOF. Mostly rigged or not, that dude has a mighty impressive resume.

Carnera knocked out Sharkey with a brutal uppercut on the inside. I don't think Wlad has ever thrown an uppercut in his life.

With Wlad, in my ratings he currently sits at number 12.

Unless he beats fighters who will go down as great he can't move into the 6-10 category on my list unless he rules for longer than Louis in undisputed fashion (at some point).

If he does both that will move him to the 3-5 category.

In all honesty though the way it's looking is he is winding down his career taking easy paydays. I doubt he'll move beyond number 12 which is a shame because a year ago I was convinced he was gonna clear out another era. It's a shame but he'ss seemingly proving me wrong.

Let's say he does make the fight with Povetkin, what next? a years wait before the next live opponent? He's shown through his career that he is not willing to offer big money to the deserving challengers, he has the mentality of "why should i" he wants everyone to play the alphabet game. fair enough it's his choice but it does stop his legacy from further improving.

    None.

The best names on Wlad's record are Mercer & Byrd, neither merit a place in the HOF imo.

The best names on Vitali's record are Sanders & Peter, 'nuff said.

Byrd or Haye might get in.

Besides them, there are no heavyweights (since 2002) that deserve to get in the Hall of Fame. Except Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, who will obviously be HOFers.

I feel Wlad is the better all around fighter but in all honesty he is in a Era which is weak which was the same for Larry Holmes (ALI does not count). But Wlad since 2004 has dominated everyone out there and you cant ask much more than that.

Its a pity aswell as I think he has very good skills and is poorly criticized for something he has no control over which is talent.

Byrd will surely make it, doubt Haye will follow.

I heard a rumour that the Klitschkos are actually 2 different boxers and don't actually share a record on boxrec.

As I said, this is just a rumour and is yet to be verified. Just giving you all a heads up.

No more or no less than the amount of ATG's Mike Tyson beat (aside from a washed up, rusty, 38-year-old Holmes)
