It has nothing to do with how either fighter looked in their last fight. The talking that Kovalev is doing right now reminds me of fighters in the past who knew deep down they were going to lose. It's not the most logical reasoning I know, but when a fighter talks it up like Kov has recently I get suspicious. Like when Sergio Martinez tried to fabricate a Cotto beef. I got Ward by UD or MD. Still a 50/50 fight doe. Whoever imposes their style wins.
Are you referring to when Kovalev got his feelings hurt when Andre didn't say "hi" to him when they passed in the hall? Kovalev has a sensitive side to him, that's all.
Kovalev is looking for some type of weakness in Ward but he can't find it and it's frustrating him and John Jackson. Ward simply does not have any fear for the man and he knows it.
