This weekend I was watching a lot of spike tv and they show a bunch of mma and as big of a douche dana white is i really respect how he organizes MMA its almost a family atmosphere... although everyone has to fight everyone and not everyone likes everyone i think everyone is giving a fair deal and because of that mma gets a lot of respect.....

even tho i prefer boxing.... i think mma's system is much better... i think

    :huh

It's blatantly apparent that UFC is operating on a more refined scale than boxing, but that's attributed to the fact that UFC is a single company while boxing is not.

You might want to give some specifics on what you'd like changed. I'm assuming you're not wanting Dana in charge of boxing's alphabet soup, but that's the only change cited in the post.

I just hate the whole belt situation... belts in 2009 honestly are completely worthless

theres like 5 belts per division... anyone can have a belt ... it really doesnt mean much

Oh, okay. They're making new belts every month, it seems, with the whole super interim champ nonsense. It's a difficult knot to untie: the guys who make the belts are the ones who get paid for each fight involving said belts. Unless some Alexander the Great somehow cares enough about this issue (or the alphabet soup stops acting like sub-prime lenders), that Gordian Knot's standing firm.

yeah i dont expect all that garbage to change.... it just sucks is so un-organized and sloppy and it hurts the sport...

i think mma benefits from their system because it helps the fans figure out who's the real badass

i think its harder to go undefeated in mma though... because the variations in style

one guy might know brazillian jiu jitsu
    one guy might know karate
the next guy might know street fighting
the next guy might know thai kick boxing

due to that its pretty tough to master both sides of your skill ( offense & defense)
