Haye just has to show over time at heavyweight how good he is, no talking, no speculating, just boxing like the pro he is, America love him , trust me, i know a lot of top US sports writers who say just the same as me, only time will tell, David is proving himself each and every time out.

"I know David Haye is going to get ktFFFFo, probably mutliple times, by any number of decent HW's who don't flail away like crack addicts down the street. Stop reminding me and don't gloat when it happens because everyone knows Dave has a crap chin. I like David Haye, he's exciting, and you should like him, too. Even if he's going to get blown away like Khan, he's still fun to watch."

That's pretty much what I took away from the first post.

I dont follow Haye but all I have to say is if Wlad can get KTFO and come back and dominate why can't Haye do the same?

It doesn't mean he'll get past Wlad or Vitali tho.

Interesting read, I've knew about Haye since a few fights into his career. He really should rematch Carl Thompson and go the route of a similar British fighter called Lennox Lewis.

Great post; however, from the comments, it's obvious that about half the people commenting on it never actually read it.

excellent post word. I agree Haye is good and his right hand can do damage. Man what he did to Enzo was awesome to be honest. Problem is that David is a little small for the weight class as it is now. I always thought they should make a superheavyweight division. Guys are getting too big now. Haye would have done well with someone like Ruiz who can be beat, and had he moved up in the 1980s he would have done well with someone like Michael Spinks, although Tyson usually knocked out cruiserweights easily. Someone the size of Lennox or the Klitchkos is another story. Although I would love to see the result of a right hand to the chin of Vladimir, Haye just came around when heavyweights are too big, regardless of whether his chin is good.

Carl Thompson is 44 and hasn't fought in three years, I don't really think so.

Is he retired? If he makes a comeback this would be the fight for him.

Sadly, David Haye will get sparked by Vitali, and will then fight in the british scene, I can hardly wait for his trilogy with danny williams

Haye will have problems with more than just Vitali. he needs to become more a boxer if he hopes to enjoy any long-term success. He's got those type of skills so use them. Way too impatient and looking for the big shot.

He can get away being wild and sloppy against guys like barrett who lack pop and struggle to throw straight punches...

What you don't get, Haye hasn't fought a dangerous fight yet. You think he has, but he hasn't. You said Barrett was real dangerous. That is not dangerous. It was only scary to you because of the embarrassment that would have come with losing to someone like Barrett, when the hopes are real high for you and your guy. Real danger will be when he fights a guy that applies pressure and that has power and a good chin. Someone like Lamon Brewster. Now Lamon is dangerous. I have followed heavyweight boxing for a long time, heard Marciano on the radio, and poor Haye hasn't fought anyone dangerous yet.

Lamon Brewster would be a dangerous fight for someone like Haye.

ok let me see if I understand your point. David Haye is a very good boxer who will very likely win the heavyweight championship or at least one of the big four tittles. he also has a supescet chin and will also most likly get knocked out at some point, and sometime in the next 48 hours you will be taking a dump.
It seemes prettty reasonable to me.
