What the general public think of green

These are some responses from the general public to the story in the daily telegraph titled GREEN WANTS TO BASH BERNARD...
As you can see not all agree with BRUBOY and his posse of green lovers and i think its good to see a bit of balance on the subject as all we get on here lately is crap about how good green is.....
The rjj victory hasnt changed danny greens ability and most people know it.

one of the best boxers in Australian history? i would not rate Green in the top 10, RRJ was his greatest victory but he was at least 5 years past his prime, Hopkins whilst still a decent fighter at 44 is now a shadow of the fighter he once was, i would like to see Green fight Chad Dawson or Tomasz Adamek two fighters currently at the top of their game then i might take Green seriously, to be the best you must first beat the best!

green is so excited to fight old guy,s who really are looking to make there last chance of making big money to retirer on. now if green was a real fighter he would fight some with speed and power young say someone his own age.not old guys

First Roy Jones Jr, then the sydney to hobart and now Hopkins? How many of these challenges are under 40 years? If this was Mundine people would be calling for his head, but not Danny "The Myth" Green

What's going on Danny Green wanting Hopkins then at the same time a match is looming(negotiations ongoing) between him and Manny Siacca Jnr. a Mundine victim. Danny as good a bloke and a good boxer, Hopkins is 44 years old and an overblown/over the hill middlewieght. Box someone who is really good even Froch or one of the worthier opponents. Boxing is a hard cruel unforgiving sport so one can't blame you for getting what you can and picking your mark. Don't go like Mundine who had everything but looks like he is fighting bums of the month, that is from a world perspective. Pity you couldn't have got it on with Paul Briggs!

Green has become more full of manure than Mundine. Please explain how fighting someone even older than Jones Jr is doing anything good for boxing? How is it not about the money? Why quibble over contracts if it's "not about the money?" And Green, who else could you fight to make the same money? Who else would fight you? You are a nobody on the world scene. Bernard would only consider fighting you if you can make him money from the gullible Aussie fan base you have. Worldwide this fight would barely rate.

If they do fight, the cagey OLD fox Hopkins will have too many tricks for Danny. He's no Jones, even if he is nearly a pensioner!!
