Seriously, did Audley have temporary brain damage that day or something?

Danny came in on a weeks notice, and Harrison actually pulled the trigger when the chance was there.

To be fair he was boxing well against Sprott aswell........then he got chinned.
Infact you could say in that short 2 month period between the end of 2006 and the start of 2007 Audley finally got rid of all of his mental reservations and hesitations and actually boxed to his capabilities.

However as it turns out his hesitation to actually fight is there for a reason, he's got a dodgy chin and inside he knows it, hence he is subconsciously afraid to actually throw punches for fear of getting caught.

Harrison can fight, he just doesn't for a very good reason, frankly he'd be better off as a chinny banger that isn't afraid to get caught but that's not how his mind works. Safety first with Audley.

Danny had big confidence thinking he could just walk all over Audley following the first win, but the moons and planets aligned and Audley actually gave a damn this time round. He busted Danny up pretty bad and knocked him bandy with a left uppercut.

God knows what a third fight would end up like. Danny is so hot and cold and Audley is such a lazy nervous fighter.

The Danny Williams that turned up in that fight was out of shape, took the fight on like a week's notice (i remember Audley was meant to fight someone else maybe Skelton or someone but they pulled out), didn't have a trainer (trained himself) and was on a Mr Kipling's diet.

Audley was training out in a secluded camp somewhere in the states with a team of boxing staff, even didn't see his wife for like a month or so preparing himself physically and mentally for a fight to save his career.

That fight did not mean that Audley at his best could handle Williams at his best.
