    No shame losing to Loma

    I dont get this in boxing sometimes...

    Guys take an L then suddenly dissapear

    Happened to

    Rigo
    Walters

    When in reality they should do the opposite, get back in the gym ASAP get a fight signed

    Walters had/has the talent to compete with all the 130 champs

    Him vs guys like

    Berchelt
    Farmer
    Tank
    Machado

    Would all.be good fights

    Is it him or TopRank?

    The quit job was disgraceful but man, hope he gets a few tuneups then a legit fight

    Kid has a fun style...

    Probably at the same place were Roman Martinez went, and Rigo just came back from (eventually).
    They all should take a page out of Russel jr's book and convince themselves they would beat Loma 99 out of 100 times, and it just was that 1 time out of a 100 that they actually met him in the ring.

    Its ironic... many on here keep harping on about how great X fighter is cuz he has a zero. Or how this guy is a bum cuz he fought so and so coming off a loss.

    Vasyl “Took His Soul” :) Am I doing it right? Not every fighter can bounce back from a devastating loss like a true warrior as we saw with Kovalev.

    Once I saw ‘The AXEMAN’ say “NO!!!” after being asked if he wanted to continue and then promptly go over and HUG his master after getting a lesson taught to him... I knew Walters would never be the same.

    From what I remember at the time Walters before the Loma fight wanted out of boxing and was just looking for a quick payday, which he got against Loma, so unless he runs through that money I doubt he’ll ever return to the ring.

    If I'm not mistaken, didn't Walters publicly vent about Arum after the fight?

    It comes off to me as the old man giving Walters the finger and putting his career on ice. It'd be one thing if he had follow-up fights and looked trash, but he hasn't even had a single scheduled fight since then.

    I often wonder about him as well, guy was a physical beast. Losing to Loma
    should not have brought him to a complete halt. I heard he had something
    scheduled last year and pulled out. SMH

    Thing is with Walters he wasn't or rather isn't just a power punching beast with a freakishly long reach, he's actually pretty slick defensively too. Nice guy as well. Damn shame the effect the Loma soul harvesting had on him as he's a damned fine fighter and he could've been running tings at 126 and 130 when Loma wasn't campaigning in those divisions and the big daddy boss man.
