Sigh, you Brittards really make yourselves look ******ed when you insist that (42-year old!) Vitali has to fight Gaye.

Haye already had 2 opportunities to face Vitali and didn't use them. Now he wants the past-prime version, like a young Mike Tyson feasting on an old Larry Holmes. Guess what, even if Haye gets Vitali in the ring and beats him, it won't prove ****!

If Haye cares about his legacy then the fighters he should be looking to face are Povetkin, Adamek, Cunningham, and other elite fighters who are about the same size as Haye. If he can beat those guys, then he has a legit claim to being a great heavyweight. Until he beats more contenders, it's all talk.

So if you guys are really fans of Haye, stop apologizing for his disgraceful pursuit of an ageing legend and encourage Haye to fight prime contenders in the 210-230 lb range.

And if Haye really wants to fight a super heavyweight, then there is an obvious big money fight to be made against Tyson Fury. This would probably be a dull fight to watch, but the build-up would be legendary.

Why would Haye fight contenders instead of the WBC champion, a 42yr old Vitali is still far better than the likes of Povetkin, Adamek and Cunningham, in what world are they better to have on your resume and in what world does that prove more than beating Vitali. Klittard ****ing logic, bunch of hypocrites, when the shoe is on the other foot and all that.

Haye touched up the brothers personally and Vitali isn't man enough to do anything about it.

Vitali doesn't need to fight Haye. If he retires everything is fine. His resume is laughable but you can't give anyone stick for retiring at 40+. If Vitali decides to fight and but doesn't face Haye in the process, he would be a straight up coward. If he goes on, he must face David.

:good Best post on ESB I've seen in a while.
