I'm the moron huh? Did you even know that Williams has a Middleweight bout lined up? Again, if you would just try to understand that sometimes in boxing, fights cannot be made because of scheduling, we would all be better off. Are you implying that you think Mosely is scared of fighting Williams and that he thinks he has a better chance of beating AM? If that is the way you feel than you should have made your thread about that. :huh

 

Because it's simple and clear man, the Vargas fight was WAY bigger to consider and he didn't pass on that offer. He was still able to make a few fights at 154 so why not take that fight?, it was a fight many people wanted to see as far as I remember. Margarito was hardly known at that point to pass the Vargas fight for, he admitted Margarito is a serious test and a tough fight but still not accomplished enough. It's when he fought Collazo at Welterweight when he made his serious move there and planned to stay, the Cotto fight proves that point. His reason to fight Mayorga instead was already explained, he was supposed to fight Judah at WELTERWEIGHT but the fight was called off so he was basically left with no other options AT THAT POINT WHEN HE CONSIDERED MAYORGA instead, his next fight is supposed to be a tune-up after his recent major fight and loss, the only reason it took so long is because of Judah's injury. Even if he fights at Junior Middle he will still move back down to Welterweight anyway as he plans to go there, at the time when Judah pulled out with an injury he was FORCED to make an immediate replacement and Mayorga was the only one available AS A TUNE-UP because that's the type he is going for after a loss.

On to the Paul Williams case, why would he even call out Paul Williams the #2 Welterweight when he's ALREADY calling out the #1 in Margarito instead?, the biggest name out there at Welterweight right now is Margarito and the #1 guy, that's who he recently claimed he wants to go for after his next fight. Mandatory to Williams or not Shane is old at this point and wants to rush in with the biggest fights available and Margarito is the hottest name at Welterweight right now.

He has the opportunity to fight Williams or Margarito next year, will it happen? probably

 

What's confusing man?, do you even know the situations surrounding Mosley when he made his decision to fight Mayorga? :huh

He was booked to fight JUDAH who pulled out with an injury, please look into what Williams was doing at the time and Margarito to answer your own questions. Don't forget that Mosley was basically looking for a TUNE-UP STAY-ACTIVE fight after his recent LOSS to Cotto, what's difficult to understand here man?

He was SUPPOSED to fight at Welterweight against Judah man, damn you're making this more complicated for yourself. Judah pulled out and he was left with no decent options till Mayorga offered to fight him and at 154 which took as it's better than nothing for a TUNE-UP TYPE OF FIGHT AS HE NEEDS AFTER A LOSS. This is no issue for Mosley he will still move back down for a fight with Margarito as he already said he WANTS.
