Anybody who is smart will duck a fight with Winky, all his losses are close or robberies (Hopkins fight). I think Winky is looking for a big money fight to go out on but everybody knows it's to risky ( either in the sense of lossing or not making the big money).

I just find it hard to believe. Wright is a guy who hasn't dodged anyone. I mean this is a guy who traveled all across Europe to get fights. He's a guy who instantly gave Mosley a rematch. He's a guy who took on Hopkins when Hopkins asked him for the fight. He took on JT. I mean DLH is the biggest pay day of his life and i can't see Winky turning that down. It just doesn't make sense to me. The only way i can see him turning DLH down is if Mr. Greedy (DLH) wanted an insame split.

theres a lot of articles that say a lot of things. ****....for all we know oscar could have paid winky to tell the press that he didn't accept a fight with oscar. but everyone knows that is bull****. ppl wait in line for the oscar show. ppf waited for a long time and is now on his second ride.

Oscar even admitted a few years ago (i remember seeing footage) that he would Never Fight Winky Wright. see risk vs. reward

bottom line is wink should have fought these fights and complained about money. he has become the guy he despised in his early career, a guy looking for a money fight .damn how times change.

Winky is at the point in his career where he wants to have lower-risk fights for the most money possible. Abraham and Kessler don't offer the money that cash cows like De La Hoya would (even though Winky turned him down), and they are much greater a risk.

I suspect he's waiting for the conclusion of Taylor/Pavlik 2

Winky's just a little *****, he always was and he always will be.

He spent his entire career saying he is being ducked and that no one at the top wants to fight him, and yet he turns down a rematch with Taylor and says Abraham and Kessler are nobodies.....all this while only winning 1 fight in the last 2 years.

he should get another fight, soon. i don't want the hopkins fight to be his last, cause he looked terrible and was not at all himself.

winky's style is killing him. he's not a big draw because he's not a knockout artist. high risk, low reward.
