Call it how you wish , but Khan is looking really good under this man. Ward is pretty much the complete fighter. Hunter is different , and what we dont sometimes understand scares us.
Without ward he'd still be training kids in a small gym. thats most trainers really, right? i think being a boxing trainer is 30 percent smarts 70 percent luck.. you cant teach a fighter to be great they are just born.
Abel Sanchez became a construction manager after a dry spell in terms of quality fighters, he even built Big Bear for the purpose of leasing it out. But then GGG emerged, and Sanchez changed his mind because of this special fighter, and the rest is history. He wouldn't have continued his trainer profession without a special figher. So yes, I'd agree that luck is a huge %.
What Im struggling to see is your problem with him. He wears tinted glasses....so what? You seem to be projecting arrogance on him. He "struts" around, and talks like hes some "west coast black Jesus" Where do you get this **** from? Arent trainers SUPPOSED to build their fighters confidence?
His problem is he's trying to gain publicity to train more fighters and make more money in the process/earn a living. Is that illegal or strange to you?
I don't think we can just attribute his success down to luck - The ''Son of God'' doesn't just walk into your life by chance you know.
This message is hidden because gramsey is on your ignore list. It may sound arrogant, but I can almost tell with certainty that is a response to my comment though. The kids obsessed.
He goes into run down neighbourhoods and preaches to black communities about bettering themselves and is always on black power documentaries. That's where the black jesus reference comes in. Why doesn't he go visit run down latino, hawian, indian and white neighbourhoods?
