GGG was busier, landed more shots, controlled the pace, and clearly out boxed Canelo. How in the living hell could this happen.
Isn't the sport based on how lands the more punches and the more jabs? All in favor of GGG and even watching round by round, you see Canelo taking the first few rounds but GGG takes control for the remainder of the fight. How the hell do the judges award the fight to Canelo who in both fights has not shown the same activity levels as a guy who is 8 years older than him and not even in his prime?
Canelo won. Everyone i watched the fight with thought he won too. He landed clean power punches frequently and hurt ggg to the body multiple times. GGG was getting picked apart all in the late rounds. GGG had that jab snapping canelos head back all night. Just couldnt do anything else better than canelo did. No robbery
GGG didn't really control the pace at all most of the fight. That's what really hurt him with Moretti who is used to seeing him push people back and force them to retreat. On top of that his face was way more busted up by the 12th round.
come on lads! it was a close fight with close scorecards i would say 9 rounds could of won either way it was what you like lads its boxing!! its subjective!!! i wouldn't disagree with either fighter winning by 3 rounds the rounds were that close its what you like!
