Cotto is falling in love with that boxing of his too much. I said it before the fight, the best strategy for Miguel would have been to back Clottey up and press him against the ropes where Joshua is basically a sitting duck. You all who were telling Cotto to move around here were in the wrong. It worked for him late because Clottey tired, but if Cotto had been the aggressor from the get go, Clottey would taken a pounding by the end of the fight instead of pulling the near upset.
***** you copyrighting my ****? I agree but remember the cut...That ****'ll make anyone think twice about engaging.
Don't know when the hell you said it... but I said that same thing yesterday mayn.. Thing is, Cotto actually engaged better in the fight after the cut. He got cut towards the end of the 3rd, and starting in the 4th round he went to work on Clottey's ass.
i thought cotto showed improved defense, and people are over playing the signifigance of the cut, it was not as bad as it looked, seriously..... i thought cotto looked slower, and his fire power just didnt seem like it was all there..... i think he should stay away from manny, i thought if clottey was a puncher cotto, hits the floor....if he fights manny he will go longer then hatton, but not much, it will be very similar to the hatton fight.
dude, it was bad when it was bleeding profously(rounds 4-7) that cut didnt seem that bad after that, he actually engaged more after round 4 with the cut.....i've seen way worse cuts on guys, thats not a bad cut.
