What the hell was Floyd Patterson doing in the bathroom at 2 in the morning? (VIDEO)

Patterson was a terrific fighter wasn't he. His left hook was devastating, and wonderful head movement.

 

I always rattle off combination's on the string in my bathroom that you pull to turn the light on. Not at 2 in the morning, just whenever I'm in there. Pretend I'm willie pep and throw a super fast one-two, every now and then I miss and hit the wall and wish I hadn't bothered.

I loved his gazelle punch and can relate to him hitting the string you use to turn the light on because I have two in my basement. Every now and then when walking around my neighborhood I dodge tree branches while Im walking and pretend I'm slipping punches. Silly but hey I'm still working on my defense at the same time

 

Thanks a lot, that was a great interview. Patterson is one of the most like-able guys in boxing history. I love how he talks about the passion and how he would've still boxed if the big money wasn't there.

 

Yeah he was a hell of a boxer who came around at just the right time for him to win the championship.

 

I still do it ,left jab ,left hook, right cross ,come back with the hook, I forget what I went into the bathroom for originally ,then I look down at the pool of urine on the floor and remember
Old age is a bummer. :-(

 

I think he could have reigned at LHW for 15years if he wanted to, but like he said he believes when doing something aim to be the best, and the HW title is the biggest prize in boxing.

 

I still do the tree branch thing, too. People think I'm crazy because I always walk towards the branches at head level instead of just walking around them.

I do the same thing. Then when the wind blows, I try to bob and weave the branches.

It's usually then when I realize that my opinion of myself drops every time I do this that I stop.
