Pacquiao beat a lot of VERY GOOD fighters they just looked mediocre because none had the speed mixed with the skills and counter punching to beat him. Cotto, Marg, Hatton are know for not being very fast fighters and besides Cotto neither can box at all or cpounter punch which Cotto can do sometimes mostly against lesser fighters though. Clottley and Mosley had the speed and skills but Mosley was shot and cpouldnt pulled the trigger and just ran and Clottley refused to throw punches even though everytime he did he landed. Marquez was the first guy since the second Marquez fight that had the speed, skills, counter punching skills ect to beat Manny it was just the size that made the fight look like it shouldve favored Pacquiao. And Marquez added weight well and looked good and also didnt let Manny use his size to his advantage. Mayweather unless for some reason cant handle Manny's style, speed, power ect which I think he might a little early one like he usually starts slow and fighters have success against him early. But around round 3 I think he just pop shots the **** out of Pacquiao and considering how Floyd feels he can handle the power he might go after him like he did Hatton and stop him late. Manny's great but Floyd is just better and Manny has had the luxury of fighting very good fighters and raking up great wins and having an amazing career against guys that style wise favors Manny so much.

I cant actually tell if your being serious, as some of what youve written is a little over the top, I feel Pacquiao is a very good fighter personally, but he is overated. The names on his resume arent so great infact his past few fights have in my opinion have been a farce... Lets look... DLH -severerly weight drained and way past his best, Ricky hatton - Past his best and coming off a beat down from Mayweather ( like a few of mannys opponents ) Miguel Cotto - now this fight i give Manny credit for good performance but Cotto himself has been slightly overated in the past and we know he was coming off a heavy beatdown from marg ( another opponent coming off an serious loss on mannys resume ) Joshua Clottey - the man didnt come to fight and isnt even a big name as it is... Antonio Margarito - a good pressure fighter, on the downslide, again coming off a KO loss and also weight drained, Shane Mosley - WAY past his best and coming off two horrific performances. JMM - outboxed pacquiao for the most part countered tremendously and for record beat Pac 3 times. But for the casual fan who tunes in to watch the big fights hes the little good guy swarming the big guy who looks amazing when he does so.

Haters r gonna hate. I am a fan of Pacs and PBF but I think sometimes both of their hardcore fans overreach their fighters status. I agree Pac had an off night and JMM has his number . . . but people are not downgrading him because of those point. But rather because JMM was shut out by PBF and everything JMM can do PBF does better. The fight with JMM was a reality check . . . 1) Pac does not walk on water 2) he does not have the best singing voice in the world 3) He does **** up sometime and may have cheated on Jinkie 4) jinkie is not very good looking 5) he is only one of the best fighters of this era 6) he is not the GOAT 7) He could not beat every fighter who ever walked on the face of the earth 8) 8 titles in 8 different weightclasses is a truly great accomplishment but it does not exceed every other accomplishment ever (espesially given the number of weightclasses and number of belts that exist today) 9) Arum wanted to milk his cash co and did not want THE FIGHT to happen 10) Jinkie is one ugly ***** I could say the same about PBF but most people already see his shortcomings. I am also a fan of Bute and hope he would beat Ward if they ever thought but I would still consider Ward a fav in that fight. Being a fan of a fighter means to me is that you cheer for them when they fight . . . not that you create unrealistic claims about who they are!
