“It’s no secret that Anthony Joshua did not want this fight. Because Deontay Wilder is the most fiercest puncher in boxing history, in heavyweight division history. And I saw that tonight and I felt it, now wonder AJ didn’t want no part of that right hand!"
    --Tyson Fury

“I’ve sparred with Wilder many times. He’s got a very, very, very, hard right hand and it’s an equaliser. I’ve hit Deontay Wilder on the chin with shots that would have knocked out most heavyweights and he’s been able to stay on his feet. He may get buzzed, but he’s still on his feet and he was firing back.”
    --David Haye

“Hard as nails. I had him in camp for sparring a year before we fought and he was over for about five weeks to prepare me for David Price. He almost had my eye out in sparring one day — he caught me with this shot and it nearly detached my retina and suddenly I had to stop training for eight or nine days. He has that explosive hand speed. His punches come at you so fast "
    --Audley Harrison

“Deontay is very unorthodox, has huge power, more agility than most and is probably the fastest heavyweight on the planet,” he told the Daily Mail. “And he is mean — really mean."
    --Malik Scott

"He has a big heart and of course a lot of punch — more than any opponent I ever met in combat or in sparring. There’s no question he is the hardest puncher in the division. His biggest weakness is his passion. He wants it all so he makes mistakes and exposes himself — he did it against me and he has shown that against Luis Ortiz and Eric Molina, but his power has always saved him.”
    --Johan Duhaupaus

“He didn’t catch me like he caught Bermane Stiverne and some other guys where it was scary. I’m grateful I didn’t get caught like that."
    --Gerald Washington

“Wilder could knock out a bull if he hit it in the head. It’s just a matter of ‘when’ in that fight,” he told FightHype.com.

“If he touches anybody with that right hand, on any part of the head, they’re going to dance or go down and go to sleep. It is what it is.”
    --Eric Molina
“I’m not going to say he’s the hardest puncher ever or anything like that but he has crack in his shots

    And most recent!
I prefer it was this kind of stoppage. I couldn't continue so the referee stopped it...... I used angles and was winning.....but like Wilder says...he only needs one second, that's all he needs." "...rematch with Fury, Wilder probably won't respect Fury's power so he will probably have same outcome by KO."

Answering did he see the right hand- [laughing] "...If I had seen the right hand I would have still been fighting!"

    And what did

AJ, ruiz, Parker, Miller, usyk, whyte, rivas, takam, chisora, Joyce, dubois, kownacki, hrgovic, pulev, povetkin, hunter etc have to say having shared a ring with him?

Oh that's right he won't fight any of the current 10 - 15 guys so we don't know.

We have to rely on the testimony of Washington, mollina, Harrison, Scott, duhaupas.

    Says a lot doesn't it

Of course we know he's a ferocious puncher, that's not in doubt...

But please come back when youve fought someone of note. Oh he tried that once and didnt k.o him did he.

NP, you discuses who he hasn't fought I will discuss those he has fought, all good with me!

In other words, if we fans can say what we think, whats so wrong with those who got in the ring with him?

So I just don't get then why Wilder turned down the supposed $100 million dollar AJ fight that was supposedly offered to him by Eddie Hearn? Who was ducking who in that case? Fury says AJ ducked Wilder.... AJ said Wilder and Haymon turned it down. Who's telling the truth damn it

Yeah I heard Klit dropped him as well. Not surprised though he has a potent punch. But quoting actual fights along with sparring simply allowed me to view his power through the eyes of those who did fight be it pro or sparring. I tend to respect a boxer's take on power over a fan or sportswriter.

Doesn't mean a declaration, rather we can't find a single HW that doubts his power.

I don't either. Most I can tell was there never was one, just a statement.

I can't fathom how they really felt he was worth one hundred million. Wilder gets 100 million? What was AJ's purse 1/2 billion?

who knows. if anyone offered me a GUARANTEED $100 MILLION, I would take it, under any conditions, my opponent can walk out last to the ring, wear whatever color shorts he wants, use any hydration clause, any type of gloves he wants, have at it lol

Fighters progress at different stages , I know that happened and why team wilder TRIED to slander Klitscko and AJ aduring and after 2015...SORRY but im not supporting this and myself challenge Mr. wilder to any forma of combat he chooses including a REAL punch calculator that absorbs impact not one that has no weight behind it. to see what registers what ..CRICKETS is all I heard...….bc id out punch him. at his BEST punch ….hes in hiding when I do this …..

As far as the statement on Wilder slandering Kli I'm not in it. I don't side, nor accuse fighters based on fans.
weight calculators? not sure of the point, but whatever floats your boat! If crickets are heard and he is not responding & you have proof? Kudos.

I'm okay with what Ortiz said about Wilder's power tonight. Don't really need a punch calculator to rate his punch. I'll take Fury's word over a punch box. Punch boxes don't get knocked out, they don't walk into shots, they measure or gauge, just like nautilus weights can gauge someone bench pressing 285lbs...then get on free weights & one arm lifts one bar, the other struggles...2 different systems gauging the power may not be as efficient as someone getting in the ring and baring witness to the power of those who lift 285.

Just as Ali, Holmes mentioned about Shavers? I'd take their word over fans and a punchbox, not because it proves factually, rather that is the best way I like to rate a fighter's power.

It’s good stuff but how incredible is Tyson’s (Fury) jaw?”
--Tyson asked on Wilder's power. Mike's so wise speaking on boxers. He doesn't call Wilder the baddest KO dude, he said good stuff. Good enough for me!
