what time was the golden era of hw boxing?

    I think it was the 70's. Foreman and Holmes were very competitive in the 90's. Foreman won the Lineal title. You can also make a case that Holmes did better against McCall and Mercer than Lewis did. I gave Holmes 5 rounds against Holyfield. Let's not forget Holmes and Foreman were knocked down several times in the 70's but not once in the 90's
