Could anyone give me some advice of what to eat before a fight, how long before, etc. It will be a ametuer kickboxing. 3x 1 min rounds. Tournament style fights all in one night. I usually eat oatmeal 1-2 hours before I train in the morning. Thanks in advance.
Oatmeal, banana, nuts, raisins, wash it down with water. Avoid anything unnatural. Get it in a couple hours before the fight.
if you have weighed in and waiting for your turn ,,then one banana & acouple swallows of water no more than 30min's before you fight,,,you should have already eaten proper meals through the day good luck :good
Thanks guys for the advice. Really helped. Won the first fight lost the second. Lost to a guy with 35+ fights in a beginners tournament promoter put him in at the last minute cause his guy pulled out. Had fun hope to do it again.
