After the way he got beat off Bradley he's lucky to be gettin another shot at a world title , the least he can do is travel for it.

It's my call and the way i see it boxing ain't about a popularity contest. Witter lost to a good fighter in Bradley and was prepared to go into European title fights to get his ranking back to Number 1. He's a good honest pro who's ducked no one. He could of moaned about going abroad but he said i'll go abroad and show them i'm still the man....i respect that and who's Alexander beat to make him home town boy if that's your reasoning about who should be home fighter??.

It's nothing to do with his popularity that he's not on TV nor was it with Froch it's to do with there promoter. Just cos Hatton is popular doesn't mean he's any more a fighter then Junior is and imo he's more of a fighter because he's had no help no handouts he's gone on his way he could sat behind Hatton while with Warren and got fed bum's kept winning and got given a World Title by fighting a shot fighter or paper champion.

You can dislike Junior but you can't knock him for being a proper fighter. I hope your right about the Jimmy Lennon Jnr part because unlike you I don't have a hatred here, I hope Witter does win and sets up a good unification fight with Khan.

But my point is don't make him out to be some kind of warrior because he's going abroad to fight for a world championship. A world championship should mean everything to a fighter, and a fighter should be prepared to go anywhere and do whatever it takes to win it.

I hear all you guys having a go at Hennesey, and the general public about knowing nothing about boxing but to be quite honest after watching Witter his entire career, im not surprised nobody wants to watch him .. His type of boxing sends me to sleep, people wrongly compare him to Herol Graham or Naz, thats ridiculous, they were great boxers .. Witter isnt a great boxer, his speed of foot gets him out of exchanges thats all ..
Witter is dull and i was glad when Bradley took care of him like Zab did years before ..

Re read my post clearly and you will see i never said Kostya was shot or a paper champion.

He deserves props for going to u.s but what he did tonight was strange and if he has quit i'm digusted.
