What type of boxer appeals to you most?

I always liked the come forward style boxer/punchers.
Especially the kind that can make quick turns or hit from strange angles if their opponent tries to get away from them.

 

I'm with Robney. I like sergey's style, then I like Algieri too lol. I guess I just like a good boxer/puncher with rythmn, smarts and good movement. Has to be pretty to watch. I like Linares too.

 

I like technically sound fighters usually with a good jab. Hate seeing guys with obvious flaws that could be fixed.

I remember watching Danny Williams lose to Sinan Samil Sam and screaming at the TV for Williams to raise his god damn left hand to prevent Samil Sam from bouncing repeated right hands off his dumb head but he was too stupid to figure it out, all that speed, power and ability but couldn't figure out when a guy is punching you in the face to rise your hands.

 

Guys who can bring the thunder, but fight intelligently as well. Golovkin right now, also Duran. Duran's demolition of the now-underrated Davey Moore stands out to me.

 

the mini fab 4 styles, the vasquez-marquez types. more aggression than defense and fighting for dominance. developing the fighting for dominance skill rather than the skill of defense and scoring points to win like the amateurs. we give cheers to amateur fights making knockouts and not proffesional fighters boxing like amateurs.

In all seriousness though am a bit of a sucker for KO power, so "offensive minded" is probably an accurate catch all description of what I like.

My favourite fighters are Duran, Hearns, Benn, Arguello, Morales and Marquez so guess that covers brawlers through to technicians.

Whatever kinda fighter Froch is, but with that being said something that comes above all: The kinda fighter who isn't scared to travel and doesn't duck nobody. Froch is my favorite boxer, second comes Wladimir who is a scientist and sometimes a boring fighter, but he doesn't shy away from a challenge.

 

Humble and grounded, aggressive, powerful, vicious and preferably british.

In other words ricky hatton. I love that legend.

Technicians, I love counter punchers but I also like guys that can fight off the back foot or walk to you intelligently. That's getting rarer and rarer these days
