If the trash talking is humorous/tongue in cheek then I prefer that. If the trash talking is serious then I prefer the respectful boxer.
Respectful, unless the trash talker is pretty funny or real good at it which there are few. A couple trash talkers I liked have been Toney, Jones, Mayorga.
a little bit of both. Boxers have to learn tos ell themsevles and being respectful 2 the T sometimes doesnt get you marketed properly, but a litle bit of both is cool with me. It really doesnt matter, if you talk trash and back it up then by all means, b/c I know just as much as winning is important to boxers, making themselves marketable is as well.
Trash talking is fine if its in good fun and its the guys natural personality . . .ie Mayorga and James. But when its forced and fake like Fraud - it sucks.
A fighter that is true to himself. A figter that doesn't fake it. Whether that's a mouthy ***** like Hopkins or a gentleman like Sugar Shane is immaterial to me, as long as they are not faking.
zab judah is my favorite active fighter so that kinda answers the question for me. mosley is my second favorite fighter though so it kinda depends on the person and how they do it. for instance tarver gets on my nerves and hes a trash talking punk
