what type of fighter has the best chance of beating Mayweather?

    Personally I think you need a highly skilled and unorthodox attacking fighter. Someone who can swarm all over him but, do so with skill, a welter weight Calzaghe perhaps. The closest I can think of would be Paul Williams, I think such a fighter would have Mayweather's Kryptonite.

    Thoughts.



    (p.s. felt sorry for Marquez, great fighter, but at the highest level you need all the advantages you can get, but Floyd had them all, shame!)

    An A level fighter of the same size. In other words noone around today.

    Someone who is taller and with a long reach, to get around his shoulder rolling and catch him going back. Being lefty on top of that would be good too.

    The Punisher has the best chance IMO.

    Yep Paul Williams is probably the best bet to beat him. Be intresting to see the Pacquiao fight still.

    I think he'd beat Floyd comfortably, too much size, too much frequency and too much power.

    agree. pacquiao wont give floyd the respect JMM did, plus the south paw stance switches things up a bit. PW has the tools IMHO to be Mayweathers worst nightmare.
