I have an old pair of everlast from 2005 that are a bit worn out. I also am not sure i like the idea of gloves that I have to tie anymore. Probably my biggest problem with them is that the actual part of the glove where the fist is doesn't seem to be tight enough. (Maybe they just have gotten worn out?) It honestly seems to affect my performance a bit because unless the gloves are tied to the tighest possible the things will slide around a tiny bit. Was wondering if anyone here had suggestions as to whats a good hook and loop sparring glove? Also they must be 16 ounce gloves.
Ringside IMF tech Rival RSV2 Good and affordable However , usually I've found that lace-ups provide a tighter, more secure fit than hook& loop with more wrist support.
i use taurus glowes in training at the pads or bags, as big as you can get them. at least 16oz, for protection of my hands, and it also helps alot at building speed, when i put on the top ten gloves(10oz) for sparring, i get so mutch faster. i use 10oz ONLY for sparring, because it is smaller, and so that i get used to the smaller gloves when im fighting.
Boon form Thailand. Beautiful quality leather gloves. I have a pair of brown 16s for sparring, great gloves. Twins are also a good value leather glove for sparring & bag work.
I use the Ringside IMF tech Sparring gloves laced, I think the laced ones feel lighter and gives more air, plus little bit more wrist support.
Reyes and rivals Had title platinums loved them but the ripped on the inside....and a few neverlast laying around
