he is overrated, maidana a good fighter not a supreme fighter, judahs a good fighter not an elite, he has good wins, but when ppl pick him and the newspapers hype him to take out floyd u know it is a bunch of ****, there are fighters out there with better skill then him, khans a good boxer but hes no where near the level ppl claim, even roach knows this.

Cleverley, not so much in Britain but by the Stateside writers. This excerpt is from Doug " looks like a tranny " Fischer

I think Brook and Cleverly are the real deal, two British stars who can kick ass against the best in the world just like Amir Khan is doing now. I hope us Yanks get a chance to see them fight at least a few of the best in their respective divisions here in the U.S. I’d love to cover both standouts from ringside. Two of my future dream fights is a light heavyweight showdown between Cleverly and my man Ismayl Sillakh and a 147-pound tilt between Brook and Mike Jones.

Has he seen Cleverley fight? Syllakh would spank him

james degale. ive never thought he was that special.
i picked george groves to beat him but did think the defeat would make degale a better fighter, however, how is degale gonna learn anything from it if he still can't admit he was beaten?
i dont think he's got the strength to compete at the top level, his punches are slaps and dont carry real power, i dont think he's got the right mentality and he's a very dirty with it. oh, and he's a real dick to top it all off.

Pretty much no one is saying Macklin would beat Martinez though. Most were in agreement that he wouldn't last as long as Barker in the other thread, so I don't see your point.

So not being competitive against Mayweather is the measure of whether someone is being overrated or not? Thats a ****ing high bar under which everyone falls.

    Domestic: Cleverley
    International: Martinez

Yeah I see that thread WalletInspector & the feeling seems to have changed a bit from Saturday night when people were suggesting Macklin for Martinez. Martinez went from No3 in the P4P back to almost join the pack in the middleweights in an hour on Saturday. My opinion, is as generally agreed on that thread that Martinez stops Macklin in about 7.

Really hope Lee v Macklin happens soon. Duddy missed out on these fights although both those guys probably outpoint Duddy if it happened in the past 3 years or so.

I actually enjoy Macklins fight-they are usually entertaining but I just dont think he'll make it at the top level. He's good to listen too aswell so I wouldnt mind getting proved wrong.

Tyson Fury, I don't think he has the discipline to keep the weight off and keep fit. All he ever seems to do in interviews is talk about how much he likes eating cakes and on twitter all he does is talk about getting pissed.

Once he gets in to the ring with someone half decent who can last longer than 6 rounds he's going to get TKO'd as he won't be able to carry on due to exhaustion. Any mention of him beating the likes of the Klitschko brothers is laughable.

It's like watching Tommy Copper slogging out it.

Carl Frampton is, for sure. But that's mainly due to all the hype from Barry McGuigan who sees his new protoge as a mixture of Jesus Christ and Superman. The rest of the world, I feel, is a little more even-headed about the lad's future.

I thought Arthur Abraham was WBC champion? Thus when Froch beat him, he took the belt? Or am I mistaken? Was that fight for the vacant WBC belt? Could somebody clear that up for me?
