Totally disagree with people saying brook is overated. The man is unbeaten and his promoter has already stated that after his next fight he will be going stateside for "presumably" bigger fights. Not sure how he can be overated on this basis. Taking pacman and flloyd aside, i think he competes with all top welters in the world. ...Have i ironically just overated him???
:deal "Khan will never be p4p - mayweathers better - he'll never be Sugar Ray" - well thats a compliment, he's the best LWW in the world, how can that be overrated??
I think he is very vulnerable to world class boxer punchers who can bang. I would like to see him fight Edison Miranda.
James Degale = He can't even throw proper punches. George Groves = He's the love child of David Haye's and Adam Booths relationship.
Being unbeaten and planning on doing the right things in his career does not mean he can't be overrated. Put it this way, he has been fighting as a pro for 7 years now and has only got two names of any note at all on his record. One is Jennings and one is N'dou who was 40 when Brook beat him. And yet the consensus seems to be that he will be a world champion and many are saying he will be a top tier fighter and predicting he would beat Khan. That is a lot of hype for someone who has not fought a genuine puncher yet and in his 20th contest was facing a guy Frankie Gavin fought in his 9th or 10th fight and who has generally built up a record fighting journeymen who cannot punch. For his first 15 fights I think his opponents had about 15 stoppage wins between them (slight exaggeration but not that far off).
