I'm not disagreeing with that. I would more say - Count 1 from the knockdown and see if Judah is back on his feet and steady by the count of ten, counting through the second fall.
Couldn't agree more with this one. A lot of people act like this is an actual rule in the sport, which of course it isn't. And some of the logic behind how it is applied makes little sense. Well, fighter A is champ, but fighter B used to be champ and for a longer time so neither guy gets the advantage, fighter A is champ, but won in a controversial decision against fighter B so fighter B should get the advantage since he could still champ, etc, etc, etc. The bottom line is that no judge is obligated to give a champion the advantage in a close fight.
That's a good one. I think rematch clauses are a bunch of BS. There is no way that any fighter should be able to protect their belt by having a rematch clause. All fighters should fight for titles through earning their shot and if you loose your title you should at least defeat another contender before being allowed to have another crack in all instances except a draw.
I said this in the last thread, but I'm one of the few people that feel Morales beat Barrera in their 3rd fight. I actually have the opposite decision in every single one of their fights...
I am a fan of Ruiz. Not a big fan of his style, but damn, he would fight ANYONE. I have nothing but respect for the man.
7 seonds from the first count Nady makes after picking up the count from the official at ringside. But thats his second attempt to stand and he looked like he was in Neverland running away from "the nothing" good stoppage. no way in the world any sane boxing fan can claim that wasp premature but opinions are like assholes
I have a lot of unpopular opinions but the foremost is the closely contested fights which are branded "robberies" by NUT SUCKERS in this forum. I don't believe that any judge or judges are being paid or under the payroll of anybody to rig results . . . I believe that they score it honestly as they see it . . . after all . . . fights are basically being scored based on the persons perceptions of what they see. HBO or any other NETWORKS or any PROMOTER doesn't chose judges . . . it is the governing boxing commisions.
