This is the second time you've brought up me going to the gym. Yes I have been to the gym. Trained, sparred, padwork, heavybag, jumproped, ran, pushups, situps, chinups, shadowboxed, speedbag, weightlifting.... Whats your point? Want to try attacking me on a different line ? No, but a Cruisweight champ (Steve Cunningham and Mr (HW contender)Eddie Chambers a fair number of times. You act like Valuev is something great or special, he is this eras Primo Carnera. Shaq could and would fight, beat and probably KO the beast and do us all a favor.
So you've been in the gym yourself. Then you should know that he's no pushover. Unlike Primo Carnera, he's never been down.. and he's faced very genuine GREAT fighters of todays standards. Fighters who get paid ridiculous amounts of cash to fight in front of an audience, with television contracts. What makes you think Shaq, someone that never fought anywhere near the level of Valuevs would KNOCK HIM OUT, let a lone beat him? Valuev has never been down as an amatuer or a professional.. he's certainly fought better boxers and fighters than Shaquille O'Neal.. so again.. what makes you think he would knock this giant spark out?:think There's a reason they get money, theres a reason they're fighting on TV.
And what version of Joe Louis, Jack Sharkey or Max Baer has Valuev fought? Primo went down cause he fought some of history's true pipe hitting HW's!!!
He hasn't been down because his head is the size of a ****in Mini. No one but Shaq could generate enough power / have the reach to crack that nut.
That is indeed true. I think fighting Chagaev, Holyfield, Austin, Beck, Lyakhovich, McCline, Barrett, Donald, Ettienne, Levin and Bidenko without ever going down speaks for something. He does have a good chin.
So you think Shaq has better form and can generate more power in a right hand than a guy like Levin or McCline, who are big men themselves?
MCcline is a skilled big man, but he doesn't have the consistent mentality / bad intentions in his fights and behind his punches to do any real damage to likes of the gargantuan. I don't blame him those are big men punching hard, but you have to agree with what you are doing.
It always comes down to the same thing to me. Ali would have Tyson feeling like a little kid in the prefight buildup, causing him to front-run more then ever when his power punches found air.
I've seen Attila Levin punch, his punches are ridiculously hard. He hit Valuev with his best punch and Valuev didn't even buckle. He also told my dear brother that Valuev, whilst hated has pretty good skills for his ridiculous size.. and that he can take a punch like none other he's ever fought. I mean, I don't want to sound like Valuev is superman, but c'mon.. he's a professional boxer on the top echellon of today.. he does know how to box.
So what? Just because you have skills doesn't mean **** because what matters is how you use them. Kermit Cintron can punch like hell and can box. But it doesn't matter because in his last fight he barely threw 5 hard punches a round and was extremely timid.
