    More have been added to New York, safe to say that historically we smash everybody in terms producing Great to very good fighters.

    Some fighters that weren't included in cities/states already mentioned...

    Ad Wolgast- michigan, Dave Holly was from the same city as Qawi, Jeff Chandler, George Benton, Bennie Briscoe, Tyrone Everett - Philadelphia.

    Sugar Ray Robinson was from Detroit. He used to follow Joe Louis to the Gym everyday and carried his bag for him.

    SUGAR RAY ROBINSON was from Detroit Bro!!! He used to carry Joe Louis bag as a lil boy everyday as he walked to the gym. I read it at the Charles H. Wright African-American Musuem here in Detroit. They Have a Joe Louis exhibit there.

    His parents separated and he moved with his mother to [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harlem"]Harlem[/ame] at the age of twelve. Robinson originally aspired to be a doctor, but after dropping out of De Witt Clinton High school in [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninth_grade"]ninth grade[/ame] he switched his goal to boxing.[4] When he was 14, he attempted to enter his first boxing tournament but was told he needed to first obtain an AAU membership card. However, he could not procure one until he was sixteen years old. He received his name when he circumvented the AAU's age restriction by borrowing a card from his friend Ray Robinson.[1]

    Thats fine and all but like i said Sugar Ray Robinson was from Detroit and used to carry the Champs bag for him as a lil boy!!!

    From 12 years old and on he was from New York and went to high school in the Bronx and his whole amateur career took place here.
