    Darryl, as a Michigan native I don't go out of my way to help Ohio, but you have to add Tim Austin to your list.

    Jim Jeffries-one of the very best heavyweights lived and died in California but was born in Ohio. What would that make him?

    Just found this list from ESPN it has Jefferies as the greatest fighter from California.

    hate to agree with Big Reg ( seeing as he hates my white self ;)) but i think Philly has more claim to Joe the boxer. Beaufort didnt doe Joe any favours !
