Oh I agree, I think it should be in a stadium somewhere, it would be great to get boxing in the public eye in that manor and it would be great for the atmosphere to have a larger crowd screaming and such rather than the small dark venues in vegas where you cant even see the crowd much.

Even though Pac-PBF will be huge and could set records, boxing is still no where near as big in america as everything else. Randomly ask a person who is in the World Series or NFL playoffs and they will know more about that than about Pacman and Floyd.

I think they are comfortable with the Vegas venues and dont want to go through the efforts and risks of selecting a stadium type venue in another state.

if DLH-Mayweather had a site fee of $15-$20 million at the MGM, you can rest assured this fight will again happen in Vegas, probably back at the MGM. That's just too much $$ to pass up. Hopefully it will lead to a solid undercard.

That would be good, too bad Arum said no way to NY because of the taxes...wherever it is, the gate should sell out, if Haye/Klit did in Germany (even tho Haye was replaced), this should definetly do well

I would say the Garden as well... It has the most history behind it and this of course would be a extremely historic fight.

They should have it somewhere totally different...mmmm the Nou Camp in Barcelona looool, how random an cool would that be.

Whether it gets filled there is another thing. I would fly over for that :) but that'll never happen. It'll be somewhere in America and i guess thats where i should be. Would love it to be Wembley personally.

    2 thoughts--

fight at a big soccer stadium in Europe--it's half way between the US and the Phillipines and is neutural ground...plus the euros are gaga for boxing lately so no problem for a sell out.

since that will never happen. what about at a football stadium in Vegas? does UNLV have a stadium?
