Jones? Whitaker? I've never seen anyone seriously indicating that Khan fought with their level of brilliance. If people have posted that, then they're most likely trolling or joking.

Khan has A* speed, and that's pretty much the only elite gift he has. To be fair, it's a potent one -- speed can do some very impressive things in the ring, but it has to be delivered in a polished package. Khan isn't polished yet, but Roach has improved him a LOT so far. That was what impressed me about the match -- it wasn't amazing in itself, it was great when compared to the pre-Roach Khan.

I watched the fight in Mexico wih spanish comentators so had no biased commentry

Id say it was good to see him get 12 rounds under his belt
He took a few shots towards end of the fight ok ish ( but they were never big shots)
I think it was an all round mature performance but nothing amazing, but Khan did what he had to do, but i was nervous to the final bell especially as his hands started getting lower!!

  3. i dont mean any offence by this but you wanna work with muslims now! all it is is amir khan this, amir khan that. lads at my work are sayin he IS! fightin FLOYD "MONEY" MAYWEATHER next at wembley in december. And that it were all agreed when money came over last month promoting the marquez fight. How on earth does anyone think that khan, who carn't even sell out the m.e.n. and money, who had to change the date of the marquez fight to the mexican bank holiday weekend to sell more tickets possibley ever think that those two could sell out a 100,000 seater stadium. A swear to god me sides are ****ing killing me from all the laughin.
But regards to khans performance at the weekend, a saw nothing great jab, move, jab, move.he got tired late on and was gettin caught a bit more, but kotelnik would not have been brought in if he could bang.maidana vs khan is the obvious choice, the wba should strip khan if he doesn't defend it against maidana but personally i think he will vacate sooner rather than later claiming better oppurtunities that will not materialise. There looking at Erik Morales which says it all.Personally i think a 50% version of his former self morales would still be to much for khan to handle.IMO
