Kessler. The only guy on that list who wasn't past-prime or over-hyped with ****ed up shoulder.

for me its hopkins... Hopkins gave him nothing to work with no openings he found a way trough against a ATG. Say what you want about hopkins he may be old but technique and smarts are still there and have always been there.

Kessler by far! young, strong and undefeated with exellent skills, that combination is always dangerous cocktail! also believe Joe feared Kessler more than anyoe else he ever fought at the time!

No. From the choices given, he looked his best against Lacy.
Best performance (looked good against good opposition) = Kessler fight.
Most exciting performance = Mitchell fight.
Most impressive result = Hopkins fight.

Don't be sorry to say it at all, I think Calzaghe is a twat and he's over-rated beyond belief.

Lacy for me. I'll never forget how blown away I was by seeing this Calzaghe guy fight for the first time against a guy I had thought for sure would expose him. Been a fan ever since...

His greatest performance was obviously against Lacy. An absolute schooling.

His best win was over Hopkins, because Hopkins was the only ATG Calzaghe fought.

Kessler was a good win, but it wasn't a better "performance" than the one Calzaghe gave against Lacy.

Against Lacy Calzaghe shown his divide in class. Yeah its easy to say now "lacy was sh*t" but at the time most americans were saying how he was gonna KO Joe. Come the fight it was one of the most comprehensive schoolings i've ever seen in a ring. Joe totally mesmerised Lacy..beat him senseless. I bet he still has nightmares of that night.

Kessler was a great win but that was a very competitive fight so IMO Joe didnt shine as brightly in that one though i guess it was a better win. Hopkins was a stinker of a fight - again I lay all the blame there at old Popkins for doing a Ruiz.
