You just responded. And the only reason you didn't do so last time was because another guy jumped in calling you out on the same thing and you felt like an idiot. You're a joke. Just stop posting and it will be all over.
i think de la hoya because it got people talking about boxing again and really brought mayweather into the public eye
Corrales and Hatton. Hatton wasn't that big of an underdog and Floyd tore him apart and absolutely embarrased him with a slick KO. Corrales was absolutely dominated. At the time, he was undefeated, in the peak of his career, coming off 3 KOs vs solid competition and Mayweather tore him apart.
if you're talking about best performance, definately corrales. lederman compared mayweather to pep in that fight. he flat out embarrrased corrales. total domination.
I have to say Ricky Hatton. Most have picked Corrales, probably because they weren't following the sport back then. I was a big Chico fan at that time and I remember Diego having problems making weight, he had so many interruptions during his training camp because of legal matters, he was in and out of court, and when he fought Mayweather, he was well on his way to prison. Mayweather did not fight a 100% focused or physically Corrales. Against Hatton, the only advantage unfair advanatge Mayweather had was a bit of size. But hatton was P4P, and was in his prime.
I go for Oscar, the limitations put on Floyd e.g. ring size, gloves etc and against the bigger man - it was close but I had Floyd as the winner. He has had other notible wins, but I think the final thoughts on Floyd in years to come are the fights he didn't take, Cotto, Margo - and they will speak volumes For me,it was a sad day to see him beat Hatton down - but the guy is just different gravy!
