What was Floyd's greatest performance?

It was obvious that Mosley was well past his prime, floyd still looked as god as ever, if you can't see that then well poor you

Well we don't know that it's only speculation Marquez had to move up two divisions for the fight and a year before it he was 3 divisions below him

 

What are you on about Mosley was shot, floyd was still 33 and at the peak of his skills of course he was a bit better at lower weights but still basically the same fighter, his not shot now let alone over 4 years ago

 

Several of Floyd's fights are arguable for his "greatest performance." Of course, it sort of helps to know if we are talking about greatest technical boxing, offensive display, best win on paper, defensive display, most impressive, etc. performance. But, pretty much any of his "10 big wins" could be argued for various reasons:

dominating victory at age 20 over long time super feather champ Genaro

5 KD's in victory over P4P and boogeyman Corrales

13 point margin of victory over Marquez in a 12 round fight

comfortable yet good action victory over Cotto

fighting an inside battle then figuring out and stopping Hatton

back to back victories over the Lightweight of the decade Castillo

all around masterpiece of sorts in victory over Alvarez

offensive washout victory over Gatti

 

Marquez was P4P #2 only behind Pacquiao when Floyd came out of retirement and fought him.

 

Castillo fights by far. Floyd was forced to fight to a game plan and not sit and wait against Castillo. Really showed a full range of skills in those fights and Castillo really pushed him throughout.

 

Corrales, IMO!!

 

without a shadow of a doubt, it's Corrales. that performance was just brilliance from start to finish.

 

His adjustment and later domination or Judah, plus ability to maintain composure despite the hiatus in the ring.

He was a Light weight moving up 2 divisions, he also thought extra weight would help him. Which it did not.
Anyone with a braincell could not use him being P4P #2 as an example of how it was a good WIN.
