What was Foreman thinking last night about his record?

Before the fight: "Holyfield doesn't stand a chance, my record is safe".

During the fight: "****, he's actually beating him by outlanding him by 200% (3 punches)"

After the fight: "Phew, Valuev's promoters bought a few judges like i did against Schulz"

By the way, apart from Holyfield, i feel sorry for those who should've cashed in with 10 to 1 odds.

I'd guess the hooky judges in Germany were factored in when 10/1 was offered.

Altough Big George probably wouldn't have liked Evander to brake his record I doubt he was happy at the manner of the decision.

He even released a press release, CLAIMING that he wanted Holyfield to win and retire. He's a clever one. :think

Foreman was the legit linear champion at 45. He beat beat the linear champ by KO, that is worth so much more than beating Valuev by a close decision at 46 would have been.

Its better Holyfeld lost, because otherwise that would take away from Foreman's accomplishment and also Holyfeld would be pushing hard for a fight against one of the klit brothers and he would be demolished.

The correct decision for this fight should have been a NC

Foreman was thinking, "If this is what passes for championship level boxing these days, it's time to put aside the grill and pick up the gloves."

Foreman really has no right to say much of anything in regards to this considering his late career was filled with close calls and flat out robberies that went in his favor.

It finally caught up to him with Briggs, though.

Yeah, but Foreman's fights actually had people throwing punches.
