I was quiet. Concentrating as hard as I could on the fight (as I usually do). Pretty low-key, though... Then as SOON as Hops landed with the right, I won't lie, I was out of my chair - arms in the air - screaming my lungs out in joy.

    Awesome.

I started considering the possibility of a KO victory... but that faded after a few rounds

I always thought BHOP would land a clean shot or 3 on Joe and send him down......but I also thought it would not be backed up.

It made the fight alot more interesting.

Genuinely not that bothered. He went down and got up clear headed and steady legged. A very clear flash KD.

the only worry was one that Id had for a little while that the judging might be a bit off, and losing a 2 point round would only make it more likely to happen.

it didnt surprise me i think b-hop needed to leave his marker on joe and it helped him dictate the pace from there on out because joe second guessed himself when he tried to attack and flurry...joe fought his fight as a direct result of that KD

I told myself "Joe will probably get up quick and start rushing in like the Lacy fight". But instead, he was hesitant, im sure he respect Bhops power and legacy.

And after the first round "A controversial decision in the making", atleast, there was no controversy, clear Calzaghe win.

"Well, that isn't ****ing good" was the quote.

Then he got up and looked ok and I was confident again.

"Damn Hopkins just cemented his legacy"

But I knew Joe would eventually win based on slap output.

I was shocked, it was a good well times shot will legitamatly put him down. he wasnt hurt though, Hopkins certainly didnt think he was anyway.
