Just curious what Booth and Haye were saying in between the rds. Did they ever mention his toe hurting? Did they ever believe they were winning the fight? Or did they start to realize the fight was slipping away. What was Booth telling him to do in the ring? Stuff like that. I only saw the HBO coverage and they never really picked up the conversations in his corner, mainly just Wlad's. Don't know if they did so more on the SKY or RTL or any other version.
I think there was a part where Booth was telling Haye to twitch (feint), then fake left, move right and throw the left hook, I think that's what he said from what I remember. To be fair, Wlad might be open to the left hook when you move to the left, then throw it simultaneously as your moving back to the right hand side, I have seen him look vulnerable to that punch against Castillo, and to a lesser degree, Brock, he hasn't been hurt or anything, but he has been caught by that type of punches.
Booth probably said something like: "Ok listen to me David, flop to the floor every time he gets close to you, maybe we can get a DQ win! That's our only chance here!!!!"
"Remember our plan Davey! We studied this guy, we know his every move, we got the counter. Just stick to the plan. He does the jab, jab, grab - you respond with the run, run, flop. When he does the win, you respond with the toe! We got this one in the bag, just stick to the plan!"
Haye's camp must've wanted no audio in their corner, cos on every channel sky, hbo & rtl no-one has any audio from the Haye corner
I would have thought SKY was all over his corner. Even if they never mentioned his toe hurting during the fights, I'd have liked to hear what they said to him going into the 12th rd.
