i've learned to never doubt b-hop. he was an underdog against tito and koed him. he came off two losses to jt and was an underdog against tarver and schooled tarver. he came off a loss to jc and went on to make pavlik look like a fool, and it's probably still mentally hurting KP, and once again hopkins was an underdog. i think his most recent fight was most impressive. as they said when hopkins turned pro, kp was still in elementary school. any other b-hop victory that was a defining moment. i know koing oscar turned helped him get the big money, but he was did what was expected of him
Tarver and Pavlik were the defining fights. Everything else can easily be shut down. Tito for example is a physically much smaller fighter.
Yes, I agree. Many thought Hopkins was a bit of a manufactured fighter who carefully chose smaller fighters for opponents. However, in the Tarver fight he for the first time showed that he is a great figther. Then after losing to Calzaghe he comes back with a great win over undefeated Pavlik.
