Well isnt that the point of this thread, to man up & admit when you major ****ed up with a prediction?

    Or am I missing something...

Or is this place simply full of reatards nowadays who cant hold a decent conversation without resorting to petty point scoring.

Not that Im asking you anyway, whoever the **** you are.

Calzaghe never wanted the fight it was purely down to Warren.
The idea was to give him as much exposure to the Americans before he went to the states.
All it really did though was bring ridicule as anyone who knows the smallest thing about boxing knows it was a miss match.
I think Warren had it in his head that the general public would take notice because of the contender.

I won a fortune off that. Think he was like 10/1 or something.

Before that fight,Vitali was regarded as the second best out of the two-there wasn't even much debate about it.

The 'Snipers' handspeed changed all that.

Biggest ****-up match wise was either backing Hatton to TKO Manny in rnd 11 or actually believing that Enzo vs Haye was a genuine 50/50 - I'm still learning!!

In terms of picking a future star I was convinced local guy Kelly Oliver would be a LHW world champ after winning the ABA's in the early 90's. His career never really panned out though

I never thought that, although I did believe the hype about Jeff Lacy.

The false hype actually made the fight far more exciting to watch, it wouldn't have been as good if I knew that Lacy didn't have too much to offer apart from bravery.

I was also convinced Frank Bruno would beat Tim Witherspoon. The press were making out that Terrible Tim was out of shape and hadn't trained properly. They made such a big deal over the fact that he refused to show his bare stomach to the camera in an interview, and I bought into it.
