yeah because he waited tell joe calzaghe was over the hillatsch why did roy jones keep losing to old guys?.........:huh:huh Antonio Tarver was 35 Glen Johnson 35 Danny Green 35 Bernard Hopkins 45 and joe calzaghe was 36 and at the very end of his career
In my top 5 most shocking moments in boxing without a doubt. When it happened, I couldnt believe it, just couldnt believe it. Its funny cuz I remember it as if it was yesterday
It was ****ing SHOCKING.... maybe the most shocking moment I have seen in boxing besides Corrales turning it around in the 10th on Castillo. When Corrales did that I literally jumped up and down like a ****ing kangaroo.
I looked at Jones the way I look at Mayweather now. Great skills, but not always taking the most interesting fights , at the same time being kind of an arrogant douche. I didn't expect Tarver to knock him goofy, but when he did , I enjoyed the spectacle. Turns out , when Roy talks boxing on HBO, he's articulate and quite likeable, and now I feel like a douche being so happy he got flattened.
Surprising at the time. I was shocked cuz even though he didn't dominate tarver in the first fight, he was still good enough to win on points. I thought he would knockout tarver the 2nd time around and i was shocked when he got knockout.
Why even ask the question JJ. You must know that the guy probably thinks that RJJ was in his prime while all those other guys were old. That's the way it works with these guys. I'm not joking.
A guy at work told me Jones had been KO'd in the 2nd round, and I refused to believe him until I got home and saw the crawl on ESPN. (Didn't have internets at that time). I was shocked.
A fight party, ****sake I wish I was American. Can't wait for an upset of that in the mainstream in my lifetime (preferably to a fighter I don't like, and ive put money on to lose)
