I feel like watching some Jerry Quarry this week. I've only seen both his fights versus Ali & Frazier and his one round obliteration of Shavers. Any suggestions?

You cant go wrong with Lyle, Spencer, or Mac Foster. His two fights with Patterson were both good as well.

Lyle, Foster and Shavers were all good performances . So was the Jack Bodell knockout. I wish I could find footage of Quarry vs Mathis. Someone mentioned on here about a decade ago that there was none

I'll go with Mac Foster. Foster was 24-0 24 ko's and Quarry took him apart and Mac was never the same. Also, Jerry was the only fighter to stop Mac.

Mac Foster loved how Jerry upset the odds ending Fosters unbeaten record

    Hi Guys.
Agree the Foster and Shavers fights were fine victorys for my fav 70s HW, but I would go with the Lyle fight, there was more meanance around Lyle than Foster, I always felt Mac was overrated, maybe fed some easy build up fights, to pad out his record, from memory, as for Lyle he looked the real deal, big strong, brooding, with an almighty chip on his shoulder, I was a tad concerned for Jerry going into the fight, but he fought a brilliant tactical carrer best fight for me, moving in and out of range, countering Lyle almost to a standstill, totally unafraid of Runs rep, Quarry was never bothered about who or what, he just loved fighting, so for me this was his best performance, but as always, I totally respect other posters points of view, and choices.
    stay safe guys, chat soon.
    Mike.

The Lyle performance was very methodical. Jerry didn’t just blast him out of there as he did Shavers . He boxed and used his superior skill and experience. A very good performance
