Are posters like Zenek bringing the credibility of this sight down with consistent uneducated posts on the sport of boxing? Should they be banned so that people who actually wanna talk intelligently about the sport can do so without the distraction of fanboys like Zenek, who base they boxing knowledge on a handful of fights and a quick browse of boxrec and youtube? By the way zenek you should check out boxing news 24, it would suit you down to the ground.
The cut that stopped the fight was caused by a thumb. It is clear on the replay. The ref never saw how the injury happened before making a decision. I don't give a rats ass about what you think of me but so far nobody coherently disputed or provided evidence contrary to that account.
This content is protected Nobody has ever needed to, because it really isn't true is it? Infact it is ludicrously untrue friend!
Until he lost. Fairly. What a performance by a well past his best Lewis to defeat a young, undefeated, future ruler of the division. It just illustrates how great a fighter Lewis was.
A revelation of sorts has emerged that may help to explain Andrew Golota's nervous appearance before he stepped into the ring with Lennox Lewis Oct. 4 in Atlantic City. It turns out Golota -- unbeknown to his trainers, manager and promoter -- received a pain-killing injection in his right knee prior to leaving his hotel room for the arena. Golota attracted suspicion the night of the fight when he arrived at the arena only an hour before he was due in the ring. The referee who worked the bout, Joe Cortez of Las Vegas, said he could tell something wasn't right. "He looked very nervous when I went into the dressing room to give the prefight instructions," Cortez said. "I've seen a lot of fighters who were tight before a big fight, but he was exceptionally tight." Following the fight, Golota collapsed in his dressing room in what was described at the time as an anxiety attack.
Funny thing is when Vitali-Lewis topic comes up Lewis fans lose ability to talk intelligently about the sport and always quote boxrec.
And Vitali nuthuggers come up with **** like "He won the event" What the hell is that? They also hypothesise about what could of happened or what may have happened rather than deal with the reality of what actually happened. And Lewis fans don't lose tha bility to talk intelligently they are just talking about things beyond Klitschko conspiracy theorists comprehension like the fact fighters lose fights by getting cut, it may not be the best outcome but **** happens. And it's not just Vitali fans but also Wlad fans. Wlad was drugged against Brewster, he had low blood sugar etc. How deluded do you have to be to believe that crap.:-(
I'm not sure I buy the "Wlad was drugged" thing but Brewster got lucky, end of. It's boxing. Things like this happen.
The rules protect injured fighters, especially fighters who are up on the cards. The refs on the other hand most of times favor uninjured fighters because they are rarely in the position to see how injuries happen. Then you have people claiming that Lewis was robbed against Holyfield but won "fair and square" against Vitali.
