Speed and power has been mentioned but what I find most facinating his how accurate he is with his speed. Many top fighters now use those speedy combos that Ray was famous for but not with the effectiveness that Ray had. He would unleach and the combos were blindingly fast and accurate. Ray's ability to fight off the ropes was great as well.

Leonards one weakness i feel was stamina, In the Hagler,LaLonde and Hearns rematch he shows fatigue from the 7th round on however he was past his prime at this point so maybe thats a factor.

Punching explosiveness ( both endings against Hearns and Benitez) and silky, subtle skill allied with lightning handspeed. Extremelly sweet boxing.

Heart and willpower he was tremondusly gifted Physichaly but i feel Leonard had incredible heart willpower the way he come back against Hearns in the first fight, and his heart when he was fading down the stretch against Hearns rematch and against Hagler

That was indeed the case but only after his three years lay off come back.
And still, I thought he did pretty damn good considering the man he had in front of him, Marvin was as shot as he was and probably even more but he was still a deadly opponent.
In his prime, Leonard was a freak of stamina. He went 14 rounds against Hearns and wasn't slowing at all.

As for the thread itself, I completly agree with Divac.
