What was Manny's better performance against Marquez? 3rd fight or 4th fight.

Marquez won the 3rd bout IMO, Marquez won the 4th bout.
Pacquiao seen the 12th in the 3rd. He did not in the 4th.

Even though he didn't see the 12th in the 4th bout, he was sharper, more accurate, more balanced, impressive head/upper body movement, impressive footwork, impressive feinting, and this was for long periods of the bout.

Overall you can argue that he looked better in the 4th, even with him receiving a KD and being on the end of a KO. But in terms of overall performance, I can see why people would say the third bout was the more impressive performance, mainly because he saw the 12th.

 

The 4th fight for sure - if people take off their anti-Pacquiao ***** goggles they will admit that for the first time Pacquiao was outboxing Marquez, Marquez would still connect with the odd counter but more often than not Pacquiao was connecting and his movement was hard for Marquez to deal with - however, it only takes 1 mistake and 1 solid counter...

But other than the last few seconds, that was the most dynamic Manny Pacquiao since the Margarito fight

 

4th fight was def a better performance . Marquez was on his way to getting knocked out . BUT... God had different plans....

3rd fight Although i scored this fight a draw , Mannys performance didnt look that great . Its safe to say he had better nights .

 

You mean MARQUEZ had different plans.

On both fights actually, since Fight III was suppose to be the fight were Manny was finally going to get the clear win by brutally stopping Marquez.

Anyway, for the TS question, i would say Manny looked better in the 4th fight.

Makes JMM's brutal KO win all that much better.

 

4th IMO. Marquez was outboxing him in the 3rd. Where in the 4th, I felt Manny won every round if you took away the knock downs.

 

He won more rounds in the fourth fight than he did in the third.

 

He got his ass whooped in both. Both were poor performances. Pac is 100% finished.
